Greenspire Properties is led by a team of principals with many years of experience in property development, design and investment who are committed to creating a company dedicated to placing People First.

John Dragic – President and CEO

John has been involved in the real estate business since 1975, first in his family’s home building business in Pennsylvania and later in Chicago upon graduation from business school. After joining Continental Bank in 1981, he spent several years working on condominium and single family homes projects. In 1988, John relocated to London, England to create and manage Continental Bank’s property finance business in Europe. Following that assignment, he returned to Chicago in 1992 and managed a group charged with restructuring or liquidating impaired residential projects accounting for in excess of $550 million of invested capital.

In 1995, John left banking to start a home building business in Winnetka. That business has evolved into Greenspire Properties LLC. As president and CEO, John is responsible for site selection, financing, zoning and permit approvals, construction management, marketing and client service.

John holds a B.S. in business management from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania and a Masters of Management from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Mandy Brown – Senior Partner
Architecture and Design

Mandy Brown received a Bachelor of Science and Architecture from the University of Illinois in 1986. She has extended experience is commercial, industrial, retail, and residential architecture.

In 1995, after working for other architectural companies, she started her own architectural practice, Mandy Brown Architects, PC. Her practice focuses on high-end custom homes, additions and new construction throughout Chicago Metropolitan Area. In addition to residential projects, the firm has completed many governmental, retail and commercial projects. Mandy Brown Architects, PC has received an architectural award from Winnetka Landmark Preservation Commission. Recently, the firm is incorporating green architectural and construction methods into the practice.

In 2004, Mandy K. Brown joined John Dragic of Greenspire Properties LLC as a partner.

Ms. Brown has been involved in many charitable organizations. She has also served as a Board Member of the Genesis at the Crossroads and the Oak Park Art League. She is also a member of several professional organizations, including the American Institute of Architects. She resides and practices architecture in Highland Park, IL.

Jack Neal – Chairman

Jack is chairman of Greenspire Properties and also a partner at Linden LLC, a Chicago Private equity firm. He has had a 30 year career in financial services.

Following his graduation from the Harvard Business School, Jack began his career with Continental Bank, serving 18 years in real estate lending and becoming EVP and head of the Real Estate Department. He continued his career spending 6 years at Kemper Corp, both in real estate investing and investment management, and finally 6 years at Bank One, managing both the real estate lending and then national corporate banking business lines.

At Greenspire, Jack concentrates his activities helping to set strategic direction and develop business plans and organizational structure.
